Payam Samouhi

    Dr. Payam Samouhi is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in private practice in Encino, California.

     

    He was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 12. He obtained his dental degree from NYU and as fate would have it, his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC where Dr. Burrill Crohn first described the condition in 1932. He also completed his residency in Oral Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital.

     

    Dr. Samouhi is very excited about the new frontiers in fighting IBD and looks forward to supporting IBD Strong!  

     

    He is available as part of IBD Strong’s peer to peer service to support other dads, fathers of children, medical professionals or young adults considering medical school and private practice who are living with IBD.
